favourite.place

MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT

Server URL

https://favourite.place/api/mcp

Ask Claude or ChatGPT to “make me a list of the best ramen in Tokyo and give me a route through them”, and it builds the list on your account — shareable, mapped, and exportable to Google Maps. Connecting takes a minute: add the URL, sign in to favourite.place, and press Allow. No API key needed.

Claude

Add to ClaudeOpens Claude with favourite.place filled in.
  1. Or by hand: in Claude, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Name it favourite.place and paste https://favourite.place/api/mcp.
  3. Press Connect, sign in to favourite.place, and press Allow.

Works on claude.ai, Claude Desktop and Claude mobile once added. On Team and Enterprise plans an owner adds connectors for the organisation.

ChatGPT

Add favourite.place as a connector with the URL above — in ChatGPT’s settings under apps and connectors (with developer mode on, while the listing is pending) — then sign in and press Allow when asked.

Other MCP clients

Claude Code

Run once in a terminal; Claude Code opens the sign-in when you first use it.

claude mcp add --transport http favourite-place https://favourite.place/api/mcp

Cursor

Add to ~/.cursor/mcp.json; Cursor asks you to sign in on first use.

Claude Desktop (config file)

Easiest is Settings → Connectors, as above. To use the config file instead, add this to claude_desktop_config.json (it bridges through mcp-remote, which handles sign-in).

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "favourite-place": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": [
        "-y",
        "mcp-remote",
        "https://favourite.place/api/mcp"
      ]
    }
  }
}

Scripts and clients without sign-in can send an API key instead: Authorization: Bearer fp_…. Create one in Settings.
